Oklahoma Counties
Oklahoma has 77 counties, each with its own Court Clerk and County Clerk offices that keep genealogy records. Marriage licenses, divorce files, probate records, and court cases are held by the Court Clerk. Land deeds, military discharge papers, and other filed documents go through the County Clerk. Many counties have records going back to 1907 statehood, and some have files from the 1890s or even earlier. Select a county below to find contact info, office hours, and local genealogy resources.
